With profound sadness the family of Kevin Ronald Muir announces his passing at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario of cancer.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Honours Bachelor of Music, Theory and Composition, Gold Medal), Kevin played a variety of instruments but made a career of playing the bass.

Kevin was a bass player with the Stratford Festival Orchestra since 1993, a composer, arranger, and a session musician. Besides orchestral and chamber music, Kevin could be found playing with a number of jazz bands and with “Jeans and Classics”.
