lan Marc is a Dominican/Canadian singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer who is on the path to developing his own style, creating fusions with pop leanings and latin styles in both English and Spanish.
His lyrics are full of good vibes and he offers his audience a reminder that we should have hope and enjoy the beautiful and simple things in life. His compositions receive touches of latin music, Pop, Jazz, Rock and Afro-Caribbean genres to unite everything in an easy-to-digest work of art.
Since he was little he was fascinated with different sounds and showed an unusual ability to communicate using music as a language, and that was his strength. From the age of 4, he
began to study piano formally, but from that date until now he has been adding instruments in a self-taught way to continue improving his knowledge, which has given him the ability to create music with a more global vision.
His most recent project is titled “Coral y Montaña”, a song dedicated to his beautiful country, the Dominican Republic. In his lyrics lan Marc wanted to express the beauty of his country and how great its people and culture are. This song was produced by the renowned Dominican singer-songwriter Manerra, who imbued the project with his seal of quality to which we are accustomed.
Among some previous works by lan Marc we can find: “Mirando a la Luna del Mismo Lado”, a song in Portuguese and Spanish with Louisa Barbosa, which is a fusion of Bachata with Bossa Nova; “El Ritmo de tu Corazón”, Fusion of Merengue with Pop; “Todo Lo Que Tengo Es Tuyo”, Latin Pop; “Esta Cancioncita”, Bachata Pop; “Sweet Pineapple”, Soft Rock.
