Gina Kennedy is a songwriter and musician from rural Nova Scotia, now based in Toronto. As one-half of production duo Altered By Mom, her work explores themes of identity and radical self-discovery through emotionally-charged lyrics and addictive pop melodies. Gina has garnered multiple placements in film and TV, pitches music for popular television shows such as My Little Pony, and has gained an official artist endorsement from Yamaha Music Canada. Equally comfortable writing alone as with others, Gina’s co-writes include tracks with Nigel Pulsford of BUSH, the Lowest of the Low, Thomas D’Arcy, Aysanabee, and more. When she’s not in the studio, you can catch her performing with Aysanabee and Altered By Mom.
