Jasmine Jones

Jasmine Jones began her musical journey singing with her youth church choir, which she later came to play the drums for. Her love of music came from singing and dancing to Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and spanned all the way over to music from her Caribbean background. Rhythm was an influential part of how she enjoyed music.

She has been playing drums professionally for over 22 years, playing various musical styles such as jazz, r&b, rock, gospel and country. Currently she is a member of The 6ixStix and The Hitmen Drumline, which are the official drumming groups for the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Maple Leafs. As well, Jasmine was a drummer with the Juno Award winning Toronto Mass choir, touring internationally and leading drumming workshops. She is excited to bring her energetic drumming and exceptional feel to wonderful world musical theatre.

Jasmine is also passionate about music education. She is a graduate of the Humber College music program, and has been teaching private drum instruction for over 18 years at Kaos Music in Toronto.
