Mirian Katrib is a musician, singer/songwriter, actor and performer from Toronto, ON. She is inspired by powerhouse vocalists like Lauryn Hill, Annie Lennox, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, and Sade to name a few.
Mirian’s music has premiered on CBC radio, Vibe 105.5FM (Canada), The Universal Show, Pulse Radio, West Side Radio (UK), as well as internet radio stations worldwide. She has been featured on Apple Music’s Hot Tracks and her dark alternative R&B/Pop/Trap production, “Smoke” has broken into the Canadian R&B/Soul iTunes top 100 charts.
A versatile and lively performer, Mirian has been active with live performances across Canada, and has made appearances on media platforms such as CTV, Global TV, Rogers TV, Stages Canada and more. She has also been extensively covered by various music blogs including Canadian Musician (CM), Canadian Beats, Live in Limbo, Exclaim! Nu Music News, The Scene Magazine and more.
Most recently, Mirian Katrib and Chaka Demus, the artist who brought us the timeless song “Murder She Wrote” have teamed up to release their new single “Twisted” an up-tempo, light hearted track uniting Canada and Jamiaca! Busy Signal also features Mirian Katrib in their release of pop/dancehall single “In Deep.”
