Canadian mezzo-soprano, Ariana Maubach, is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Voice on full scholarship at the College Conservatory of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati. During the 2022 season, Ariana performed in La Bohème with the Spoleto Festival and Eugene Onegin at Music Academy of the West. In November 2022, she played Mère Marie in CCM’s production of Dialogues des Carmélites in Corbett Auditorium. Previous performances in Cincinnati include Madame in the Cincinnati Opera Fusion workshop of Bulrusher and Dorothée in L’Amant Anonyme. Ariana also holds an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School (GGS) where she attended on full scholarship. In the 2021 season at GGS, Ariana performed the title role in Bolcom’s Lucrezia and Bianca in The Rape of Lucretia. Ariana earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice with Distinction from The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. Ariana is thrilled to be singing Linette in The Love for Three Oranges this summer with Des Moines Metro Opera where she is an Apprentice Artist.
