A Canadian electronic music composer based out of Toronto, Ontario, Drew originally found love for music through an old NES bought at a garage sale as a child. Drew made their way through a wide variety of influences and musical endeavours over the years, but through all of that the tones and melodies of those old video games never escaped their fascination. Pulling from those musical foundations and combining them with a love of organic sounds has inspired their creation of music that blends retro video game elements, live instrumentation and sound design, and modern synthesizers to create something uniquely their own.

Drew’s goal is to explore how all these disparate musical elements can be distilled into catchy and evocative songs. While drawing comparisons to the likes of Tycho, Glimlip, and the Japanese House, Drew is not shy about wearing their influences on their sleeve. However, that’s because it is exactly that musical upbringing that they have been able to pull from and reflect upon to create something wholly new.
