Dan Devion is a Toronto based Canadian professional musician and educator whose career began in 1980. Dan has toured nationally and internationally as far as Seoul, South Korea. Dan is a songwriter and a producer, has owned/operated a recording studio and is currently a popular children’s music performer and recording artist. Dan is also a featured instrumentalist on recordings by other artists and has composed and recorded advertising jingles heard on television and radio in Ontario.
Dan the Music Man — 1995 – Present
As a children’s songwriter and recording artist, Dan the Music Man has created musically entertaining educational programs and recordings which continue to be in great demand in the school systems of Ontario and beyond. Dan has dedicated his passion and talent for musical fun to enthusiastic young audiences everywhere and maintains a busy performance schedule at schools, festivals and family events in Canada and internationally. Dan has performed to over a million kids!
With four popular recordings to his credit in the family genre, Dan has developed a devoted audience from coast to coast and internationally. Family festivals, theatre series, fairs, events and attractions play proud host to Dan the Music Man’s concert shows and schools across North America give rave reviews of Dan’s educational and entertaining school assembly programs.

ACE After Four is an after school multidisciplinary Arts Program. Dan conducts children’s music programs, guitar and piano classes.
Guitar Teacher — 1990 – 2003
Guitarist, Vocalist – Dan performed in a multitude of working club bands, the longest being the band Avenue Road which received sponsorship from the Miller High Life Rock Network in the 80’s and toured Canada and the USA.
