Songwriter/performer/musician/producer david tosh (he/him) draws upon choice elements from folk, rock, electropop, dance, and hip hop to create an exciting musical blend. His inspiration comes from life, dreams, improvisation and collaboration, and he seeks to engage with those elements on a deeper level through music.
Tosh builds intricate loops and beats, then performs the songs with multiple looping instruments (guitar, trumpet, bass, synthesizer, vocals).
As an Accredited Music Therapist (MTA) and Fellow with the Neurologic Music Therapy Academy, Tosh is fascinated with the intersections of neuroscience, music, and mental health. He works as a music director with Second City Toronto, and is a talented musical improviser, teacher, and team-building facilitator. He also loves the outdoors, indoor rock climbing, biking, and birds.
