Richard began his life-long love of music as a child listening to Van Morrison on a transistor radio. As a teenager he got his first drum kit and started lessons; then his life took a different path from a fascination with building classic cars to a career in the financial industry. Many years after high-school he got back into drums, jamming with friends and now playing shows with Signe Miranda in a duo, trio and quartet. Music has always been a part of his life and when he hears a song, he hears all of the instruments that could fill in the sound; he listens to what others play and that is how he connects to the music.
