Ariel Baptiste, known professionally as DZY, is a recognized Canadian record producer and songwriter, based in Toronto, Canada. With a music career spanning over 10 years, and his Trinidadian born musical roots, DZY’s musical artistry is the product of both experience, and early cultural experiences. His first notable placement came when he produced Wild Ride by Kevin Gates – an American recording artist under Atlantic Records. DZY is popularly known for working with and producing Canadian R&B artists such as Jayd Ink & OVO recording artist Roy Woods. The latter artist released the DZY produced track “Only You” in 2016, featuring Ty Dolla Sign and 24hrs. DZY also has seen success working with UK Rapper Little Simz, where he co-produced the single “Dead Body”. With his sophisticated musicality, versatile catalogue, and growing experience, DZY’s hustle never stops
