Jarrod has been a professional bass guitarist for over 15 years and has studied at the
Victorian College of the Arts and Humber College. Currently based in Toronto, Jarrod began his
musical journey in Australia, where he was a member of touring bands and artists such as Dan
Sultan, Leah Flanagan and Bjorn Again, where he shared most major venue and festival stages
across the country, as well as touring internationally. Whilst not on the road, he performed most
nights in high profile Top 40 bands.
Since moving to Toronto, Jarrod has forged a career performing alongside many great
Canadian artists, and can be heard on recent award winning recordings form Johannes
Linstead, the Julian Taylor Band, Vandana Vishwas, Australia’s Black Rabbit George and many
more. He holds an enthusiastic passion for music ranging across all genres (as his credits
would suggest) and seeks to utilize this enthusiasm to help inspire our musicians of tomorrow.
