Is a music educator with over twenty-five years of experience. To give every child the opportunity to play a musical instrument, Wanes founded the “Artist Project” in Syria, teaching children playing the violin using the Suzuki method. His students have won prizes in both local and international competitions. Wanes was also the Concert Master and Artistic Director of Gomidas Chamber Orchestra – Syria. He has performed professionally in various concerts throughout Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. He performs in different orchestras and groups in Toronto, and is the conductor of the Canadian Arabic Orchestra.
