Born in Port Colborne, Ontario, Ken Edge was an incredible pianist, singer and accordionist. He enjoyed performing at weddings and private functions as the leader of three bands known as “The Edge of Night”, “Just Jazz” and “The Edge of Dixie.” Ken received an honours degree in music from the University of Windsor. He belonged to the Toronto Musicians’ Association for over forty years and was a twenty-year member of Toast Masters. He also taught instrumental music to grade seven and eight students for the TDSB.

Ken passed peacefully at Providence Health Centre on June 18th, 2024. He was so thankful for the support given to him and his wife, Judy, from family and friends during his illness. The entire family was so grateful for the wonderful staff in the palliative care unit at Providence. They truly helped Ken to face each day with dignity and courage.

His loving wife, Judy, will miss Ken with all her heart. He was her best friend and her rock.
